Collective Conversations

About Collective Conversations

We at the Free Black University believe there are exciting knowledges to be understood when we hold each persons experience as a valid site for knowledge production. With this, we offer this space as a container to collectively explore the knowledges each of us have inscribed with us.

No panels or Q+As; just conversations on philosophy, liberation, systems transformation and so much more.

Our next meeting is on September 22nd, 6-7.30pm. This month, we gather to explore what embodying African & African Diasporic Spiritualities as a site of knowledge production means.

- What ways may we experience and rebel against the legacies of epistemic injustice?

-What are our visions for world-building, and community and self-actualisation, when we embed African & African Diasporic spiritual practices in our paradigms of knowledge production?

This session is open to folks who are racialised as Black/mixed-Black only

We invite you to bring along anything that might be of interest, from personal experience, artefacts, your favourite texts, and anything in between. This is a collaborative discussion, and with this starting point, we are looking forward to you joining us and seeing where the conversation goes!
